Hole 17

Little Aston's signature hole is a short but demanding hole requiring two accurate shots to a testing green three quarters surrounded by water. A long iron or fairway wood struck at the fairway bunker,  which is 280 yds from the tee. This will leave you in perfect position as the fairway has a gentle right to left slope. Any tee shot right of this will be blocked out in the tress and anything down the left of the fairway runs the risk of running out into the trees.

There are some tricky pin positions on this green, front left or back left requiring perfect club selection and accuracy, anything short or left will find water,  and long will also be wet. Bail out right and there is a bunker waiting and from there will be a nervy shot to the pin with the water looming beyond.
